Although her character Heather on The Young and the Restless was short-lived from 2010–2011, fans best remember Riegel for her portrayal of Bianca Montgomery on All My Children, a groundbreaking role that helped shape daytime television. She received critical acclaim and multiple nominations for her portrayal of Bianca, winning a Daytime Emmy in 2005.

Riegel’s husband, actor/writer/producer Andrew Miller, shared a heartfelt birthday tribute praising her determination, strength, love for their children, and support in family life.

Beyond her work on soaps, Riegel has continued a successful career as a voice actress and voice director for animated TV series and video games, including work with Disney.

During her time on The Young and the Restless, Riegel’s character Heather Stevens had storylines in Genoa City and interacted with other major characters before eventually leaving to join a love interest in another city.

Riegel and Miller married in 2007 and have two sons together, adding a rich family chapter to her life outside of television.
