Grieving Patrick learns the truth about Jasmine’s identity in EastEnders today (Tuesday, December 30), as she decides to come clean to her grandfather about everything. With Patrick still shell-shocked by the death of his son, Jasmine’s bombshell comes as another Earth-shattering surprise… and he doesn’t exactly react as she might have hoped.

Jasmine opens up to Patrick in EastEnders today
As the soap continues today, Kat is no closer to clearing Zoe’s name. After getting the wrong end of the stick as they talk about the hunt for missing Chrissie, Jasmine flees, and seeks advice from Oscar.
Meanwhile, Kat grows frustrated with her family after Tommy and Jean both cast doubt on Jasmine’s version of events. Turning on Tommy, she demands that he step up for Zoe and his family just like they’ve done for him in the past.
Elsewhere, after Jasmine has shared her true identity with Oscar, he suggests that she do the same for Patrick. Following Oscar’s advice, Jasmine goes to see Patrick and Yolande – and reveals that she’s their kin.
Patrick is blindsided by this news. Unable to deal with yet another massive secret in the wake of his son’s death, he orders Jasmine away.
Kat steps to Jasmine’s defence
Afterwards, a downcast Jasmine takes refuge in the café. It’s there that she runs into Cindy, who confronts her over the attack. Billy and the locals tell Cindy to back off but, sensing blood in the water, a vengeful Cindy continues her attack.
Jasmine is on the ropes when Kat arrives, and tells Cindy to back off. She then reveals, in front of everyone there, that Jasmine is her granddaughter.
There you have it Jasmine… you’re officially a Slater now!
