Max Branning’s mystery pregnant lover has been “revealed” by EastEnders fans.
During Thursday’s (January 8) episode of the BBC soap, Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) got defensive at a school reunion event when her old school peer Bea Pollard (Ronni Ancona) offered her version of events from their school days that painted her in an unflattering light.
When Linda and Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton), Honey accidentally picked up Bea’s bag, not her own.
Back at Peacock Palace, Linda was given pause for thought and decided to apologise to Bea for her past behaviour so she and Honey headed to Bea’s address they’ve found in her handbag.

When they arrived, Bea was being kicked out so Linda offered her a room at Peacock Palace while she gets back on her feet, the same boutique hotel Max is currently staying it.
Fans are now convinced that Bea could be the pregnant women spotted in bed with womaniser Max (Jake Wood) in the flashforward episode which aired on New Year’s Day.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan asked: “Does anyone else think Bea could be relevant to the upcoming Max storylines??? # EastEnders.”
Another added: Right playing detective Jean here but this new friend ofLinda’s Bea could she be the one that Max is having an affair with and is pregnant but he’s marrying Linda?” A third person said: “Ok. Sooooo Bea is gonna be max baby mama. #EastEnders.”
In the flashforward episode, Max was seen waking up in the year 2027. As he rolled over, there was a mystery woman also waking up, but her identity was covered.
The woman had a baby bump though which she was caressing and the camera then panned to a baby scan as well as pregnancy supplements.
It’s not clear who the woman is but the clip does appeared to hint that Max will be expecting a child with a mystery partner soon, with him smiling at her.
In the same clip, Max was seen with a suit hanging up, teasing a wedding but it later came to light that the bride was not the lady in his bed.
Spoilers for next week have confirmed that Bea takes a shine to Max in upcoming scenes as she settles in at Peacock Palace.
When Linda’s son Ollie Carter has an issue at school, Max offers to take Bea out so Linda can focus on her son and Bea is thrilled to have a “date” with Max.
