Next week in Emmerdale, Aaron Dingle’s plan to bring killer John Sugden to justice spirals into a terrifying fight for survival — with Robert Sugden racing against time to save the man he loves.
The drama explodes from the very first scene. John Sugden is tied up inside Aaron and Robert’s flat, staring down the barrel of a gun. It looks like execution is moments away — until Aaron shocks everyone by turning on Robert, knocking him unconscious. For a split second, it appears Aaron has chosen John over his own husband.

But it’s all a trap.
With Robert out cold, Aaron plays directly into John’s obsession, even pulling him into a passionate kiss. Convinced his twisted fantasy is finally coming true, John lets his guard down. Outside, Aaron strikes. In a lightning-fast move, he seizes the gun and orders John to drive to the police station, the power balance instantly reversed.
John’s delusion collapses in real time.

Back at the flat, a dazed Robert Sugden regains consciousness and panics. Realizing how dangerous his half-brother truly is, he desperately seeks help from Joe Tate, begging him to help save Aaron before it’s too late.
On the road, tension hits breaking point. Aaron keeps the gun trained on John, but John controls the steering wheel — a deadly imbalance. As John realizes his “happy ending” is gone, he snaps. Speed increases. Rage takes over. With Aaron distracted, John lunges for the gun, triggering a violent struggle inside the moving car.
The result is catastrophic.
The vehicle swerves out of control, hurtling toward oncoming traffic — directly setting up the massive Corydale crossover crash with Coronation Street. Two worlds are about to collide, and lives are on the line.
As Robert and Joe race to intervene, one question dominates: will Aaron or John survive the carnage — or will their toxic feud end in mutual destruction?
