Emmerdale star Charley Webb has fans talking after appearing to take a playful dig at her ex-husband Matthew Wolfenden in a new TikTok clip — nearly two years after their split.

The 37-year-old actress, best known for her role as Debbie Dingle on the ITV soap, shared a short video of herself lip-syncing to RAYE’s hit track “Where Is My Husband?” — before adding her own twist.
In the video, Charley looked effortlessly casual in a black hoodie with her hair tied back, mouthing along to the lyrics with a knowing smirk. Her caption sealed the deal: “I mean, I don’t want one, obviously!”
The post quickly went viral among fans, many of whom saw it as a light-hearted jab at her ex, Matthew Wolfenden, 45, who has since moved on with new girlfriend Heather Scott-Martin.
From Soap Couple to Co-Parents
Charley and Matthew, who met while working together on Emmerdale, were one of the soap world’s most loved off-screen couples. After 15 years together and three children — Buster, 15, Bowie, 9, and Ace, 6 — the pair announced their separation in November 2023.
At the time, Matthew described the breakup as “a big shock,” revealing on The Lewis Nicholls Show that the decision had been Charley’s. “It was hard,” he said. “By that point, I’d decided to leave Emmerdale. Charley was out on tour with a play, and suddenly I got this news that she wanted to separate. It was a tough time.”

Following the split, Matthew found love again with Heather Scott-Martin, a choreographer and dancer he met while performing in the stage production of Elf. The actor has since spoken warmly about his new relationship, explaining that the two bonded over shared experiences.
“Heather had also recently separated from her long-term partner,” he said. “We’d sit chatting after rehearsals — the last ones in the pub — and it just felt like it was meant to be.”
A New Chapter for Charley
Meanwhile, insiders have suggested that Charley’s time touring with the stage play Quiz was a turning point in her personal life. “It was the first time in years she felt like herself again — not mum, not Debbie, but Charley the actress,” one source shared. “It gave her the space to think about what she really wanted.”
