Coronation Street’s Nina Lucas star Mollie Gallagher has made a major change to her appearance
Coronation Street’s Mollie Gallagher has unveiled her striking new transformation, leaving her fellow soap stars absolutely smitten.
The talented actress rose to prominence portraying Nina Lucas, Roy Cropper’s (David Neilson) niece, making her first appearance in 2019 and swiftly winning over viewers.
Throughout her time on the cobbles, Nina has been central to numerous powerful storylines, most notably a harrowing hate crime plot that earned Mollie widespread critical acclaim and multiple accolades.

The Salford-born star’s Corrie success paved the way for her 2023 Dancing On Ice stint, where she captivated audiences alongside partner Sylvain Longchambon before becoming the seventh duo to leave the competition.
Nina’s character has become synonymous with her gothic aesthetic and dramatic styling, with her signature black locks gradually transitioning to platinum blonde over recent years, reports the Mirror.
However, Mollie has recently embraced yet another dramatic makeover that has delighted her fanbase. Sharing on Instagram, she revealed her decision to return to her darker roots, trading her blonde tresses for sleek black hair.
The soap sensation posted a gorgeous mirror selfie from her Corrie dressing room, flaunting her gorgeous new mane, captioning it: “New year old me xoxo. Hair colour and extensions by the best hair transformer @hairspecialistkyle.

“Today’s look by @alexh_artistry_” Similarly, Mollie’s hairstylist Kyle posted a clip on his TikTok showcasing Molly’s dramatic makeover. He wrote alongside the footage: “TV STAR NINA FROM CORONATION STREET MAKES A HUGE CHANGE!”.
“Mollie – what an absolute blessing you are to know as a person. You are such a vibe and definitely someone I now consider a friend. Nina’s real name is Mollie, you might have seen she’s been blonde for a while. After mixing it up with a few different stylists, the bleach was no longer kind to her.”
He continued: “When this happens to people they automatically think going dark will save it on the hope of returning blonde one day. The truth is – your hair will be dark but still damaged.
