ITV has confirmed that the public vote to influence the special crossover episode is officially open. During production, four exclusive crossover scenes were filmed, but only one will make the final cut. The choice lies entirely with viewers.

Adding fuel to the speculation, Jack P Shepherd, who plays David Platt, publicly backed the Kirk and Sam scene — prompting fans to wonder whether that combination might already be the frontrunner.
While only one fan-voted scene will be included, several major storylines are already confirmed for the crossover. Becky Swain attempts to flee the country with Lisa and Betsy, Todd Grimshaw fights to escape the abusive grip of Theo Silverton, and Carl Webster threatens to destroy Debbie’s wedding night.
Meanwhile in Emmerdale, McKenzie Boyd races to confront Sarah Sugden after learning the truth about Charity’s pregnancy, while serial killer John Sugden puts his latest deadly plan into motion. These separate arcs are set to collide — literally — raising serious questions about who will survive the chaos.
