Despite The Madison — a new spin‑off in the Yellowstone universe created by Taylor Sheridan — not yet having an official release date for its first season, production has already completed filming on its second season. The show is notable for its star‑studded cast including Michelle Pfeiffer, Patrick J. Adams, and Kurt Russell, and tells the story of a wealthy family from New York who relocate to Montana’s Madison River Valley following tragedy.

Filming for The Madison began in 2024 and continued through late 2025, with scenes shot in Montana and North Texas, where parts of downtown Dallas were even transformed to resemble New York City during production. Cast photos and social media posts confirmed that the actors were actively shooting both the first and second seasons, raising excitement among fans.

The unusual move to begin and complete a second season before the first has aired signals strong confidence from producers and the network in the spin‑off’s potential. Previously, it was also reported that The Madison had been green‑lit for Season 2 ahead of its premiere, a rare early renewal in television.
